THE winner of our “changing seasons” Argus Camera Club competition has finally been announced.

The winner is Mende Stojanovski, whose stunning picture of a multi-coloured tunnel of trees in Halnaker, near Chichester, impressed The Argus office.

He wins a £50 cheque and a copy of South Downs Way, a complete guide to the footpath that spans across Sussex.

Almost 70 Camera Club members entered the competition on our Facebook page, making it a hard choice for The Argus staff.

But many caught our eye in particular.

Tristan Honhold’s image of a conker in Southwick was a lovely way to ring in autumn.

And Trev Packer’s picture of a striking red-leafed tree in The Rockery, Brighton was particularly eye catching.

Jack Williams’s close-up of a pine cone in Tilgate Forest in Crawley captured the autumnal spirit perfectly.

A lovely shot of Newhaven at sunset by Michael Cracknell was also popular in the office.

Our competition will now take a break until November 1, when the next theme will be announced.

In the meantime, join in on the fun at the Argus Camera Club Facebook page to get all updates as soon as they come in.

Our members share tips and tricks on how to take great photos.
