BRIGHTON has been crowned the most vegan and vegetarian-friendly city in the UK.
According to research by money comparison site finder.com, Brighton has the most meat-free restaurants per resident.
The analysis compared the number of vegetarian and vegan eateries with the population in 331 towns and cities, and found that Brighton boasts 38 for its 139,001 residents, which is one for every 3,658 people.
Falmouth was the next best for herbivores, followed by Bath, Leicester and Newcastle in the top five.
