A CROOK swiped a collection of records worth more than £1,000 from a store.

The thief went into The Record Album store in Terminus Road, Brighton, and took eight records between 4.15pm and 5pm on September 13.

Police want to speak to the man pictured as he may have information that can help.

PC Darren Hughes said: "We would like to hear from anyone who recognises the man in the image or has any information about it.

"It appears the suspect knew what he was looking for and has some knowledge about records."

The man is of large build, bald and was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and three quarter length dark trousers.

He was also carrying a red rucksack.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: "If you can help with the investigation please report online or ring 101 quoting serial 456 of 15/09."
