A LIB Dem branch office has been vandalised for the third time this year.
Red and white paint was found splattered on the party’s office in Battle Road, Hailsham.
Police have recorded the incident as a hate crime after they were called to the scene at 10am on Sunday.
Chris Bowers, Lib Dem parliamentary candidate for Wealden, called the crime “an attack on democracy”.
“People can disagree with the Lib Dems’ stance on anything,” he said.
“But an attack like this on Lib Dem property is an attack on democracy and none of us should tolerate it, whatever our views on Brexit or anything else.”
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Anyone with information about the incident is asked to report it online or call 101 quoting serial 526 of 20/10.”
