A PERSON has been hit by a car near a train station.
The incident happened at about 8.30am in Railway Approach, Newhaven.
A spokesman for the South East Coast Ambulance Service said: "We attended the scene following reports a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle on Railway Approach at approximately 8.30am today.
"One of our volunteer community first responders came across the incident and assisted prior to an ambulance arriving at the scene.
"No one required further hospital treatment."
