A FORMER Brighton University student has become a parkour star on the popular social media app Tik Tok.

Josh Brady videos himself running, jumping and swinging across buildings and obstacles around the city, and edits the footage into 15-minute clips set to music.

He said: “I’ve always loved physical movement.

“Exploring becomes almost subconscious, I’m always seeing a move.”

He holds a Go-Pro camera in his mouth to film some of the more tricky shots, for example backflipping off the seafront, above.

It’s a high-adrenaline sport for both the participant and spectators.

Never at rest, Josh practises the sport even when he’s on holiday – which raised a few glances in Bogota, where parkour is relatively unknown.

“I had some interesting looks and comments,” he said.

“It’s a mixed bag, sometimes people are mind-blown and interested, some people get really outraged.”

There is a strong parkour community in Brighton with some of the biggest athletes and practitioners of the sport living here.

Josh’s Tik Tok account has more than 56,000 thousand followers.
