THE Cricket World Cup trophy will appear soon alongside football legend Kevin Keegan.
At a charity dinner next month at The Grand Hotel in Brighton, Mr Keegan will tell stories about his career.
Guests will also get the chance to pose for a picture alongside the Cricket World Cup trophy.
Sussex Cricket’s community cricket chief Chris Coleman said: “Welcoming an England legend to Brighton and the World Cup trophy won by Sussex’s own Jofra Archer should make for a superb event.
“With some great auction and raffle prizes on offer, guests have the opportunity to leave with a memory that lasts a lifetime.”
Prizes at the event, entitled “When Cricket Meets Kevin Keegan”, include a corporate hospitality box hosted by the Sussex Cricket president at a Lord’s test match, use of a ski chalet in the French Alps, and Cricket World Cup memorabilia signed by Sussex star Mr Archer.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Sussex Cricket Foundation and the Matthew Hobden Trust, which helps young cricketers.
Tickets for the event on November 15 are £75 per person for a table of ten or £80 for individual tickets.
