A POLICE force has been granted additional powers in a town centre.
Horsham Police officers have been granted dispersal powers after residents expressed concerns over a spate of anti-social behaviour.
A Horsham Police spokesman said: “Our local officers have dispersal powers, under legislation, for 48 hours until 3pm on Friday for anyone causing anti-social behaviour in the Horsham town centre area.
"There have been incidents recently and we are responding to community concern. Thanks for your support.”
