POLICE have stepped up their presence at a school after being made aware of concern for a pupil.

Officers from Sussex Police attended Chichester Free School on Tuesday.

A Sussex Police spokesman said; “We have been made aware of a concern for a pupil and the information comes from communication between students at the school.

“We are in liaison with the school and there will be an increased police presence at the premises.

“There have been no other reports of this nature.”
