A HUSBAND and wife floristry team have been serving up amazing creations for more than a decade.

David Costa, 57, and Sue, 54, make bespoke flower arrangements from their shop in Portland Road, Hove.

They design and create customised flowers, foliages and sundries to people and businesses across the city.

Flowers Unlimited has designed everyone from Brighton and Hove Albion to families wishing to send off their loved ones with something special.

Previous designs include a large floral Union Jack and a scuba diver swimming among flowers.

David said: “We’ve worked with the Albion since they were at Withdean.

“The business is run by myself and Sue and Sarah our florist manager looks after the flowers side.”

Earlier this month, The Argus reported how a grieving daughter was left upset after paying for a Sky remote floral tribute to her father.

She said it looked nothing like what she had paid for.

David said the trick to working with grieving families was to keep them engaged in the process.

He said: “It’s a philosophy we try to incorporate.

“I think that comes from over the years, you gain much more experience in dealing with it.”
