KHOSHNAW AHMAD

Aged 21, of Ashton Rise, Brighton, admitted fraud at a driving theory test centre by possessing a bluetooth device. Ordered to complete 100 hours of unpaid work, with an £85 surcharge and £800 costs.

DONAL BURKE

Aged 51, of Brunswick Place, Hove, admitted being drunk and disorderly. Fined £40, with a £32 surcharge and £85 costs.

MARIUS IOVU

Aged 28, of Montpelier Place, Brighton, admitted assaulting a police officer. Fined £80, with a £32 surcharge and £85 costs. To pay £25 in compensation.

JAMES BATCHELOR

Aged 43, of Court Farm Road, Newhaven, guilty of driving at a speed in excess of 50mph on the A27. Fined £261, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Six points added to his licence.

JOHN BIRDSALL

Aged 55, of Middle Road, Shoreham, admitted driving at a speed in excess of 40mph on the A27. Fined £115, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Three points added to his licence.

ZACHARY HUCKSTEP

Aged 44, of Pelham Place, Brighton, admitted two charges of driving at a speed in excess of 30mph on the A259 at Marine Parade. Fined £294, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Four points added to his licence.

STEVEN MEAD

Aged 42, of Park Avenue, Shoreham, guilty of driving at a speed in excess of 30mph in Old Shoreham Road. Fined £100, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Three points added to his licence.
