The fire service has received more than 200 emergency calls as gale force winds cause chaos across Sussex.
Earlier today, crews tackled one of dozens of fallen trees in Worthing.
Officers used a chainsaw and hauled away braches to free a parked vehicle on the A27 at Crockhurst Hill. Nobody was hurt.
A spokeswoman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue said crews were busy with similar incidents across the county.
Both East and West Sussex fire services said they have been working flat out to deal with large numbers of broken power cables and fallen trees.
They have taken more than 220 emergency calls since 8am today.
The service said nobody in the county has been injured as a result of the severe weather.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue said: "Due to the badweather we are extremely busy and will be prioritising our resources to deal with emergencies.
"Please seek alternative help for things like loose fences."
