FIRE crews were called to reports of a fire at a hotel and spa.
Crews from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service attended and found smoke pouring from the rough of a building.
A spokesman for the service said: "We were called to reports of a fire in an outbuilding of a property in Climping Street, Climping at 7.07am.
"Crews from Littlehampton, Bognor Regis and Worthing were mobilised to the scene.
"Upon arrival they found smoke issueing and used one high pressure hose reel and one safety jet.
"Firefighters also used four sets of breathing apparatus.
"They remained at the scene identifying any hotspots using a thermal imaging camera, with the last crew leaving the scene at 9.37am."
