SUNGLASSES, designer boots, "used" baseball bats, and a unisex bicycle are among the bargains on offer from the police ebay account.

The items, often seized as offensive weapons or as suspected stolen property in Sussex can be purchased at a knock down price online.

This week, some of the stand out goods include Calvin Klein Jeans Zabrina heavy canvas ladies boots, in size four, available for £16, with £4.10 posting and packaging.

On ebay Sussex Police said: "There is a small black mark on the right show, and blue staining on the back of both."

The force is offering ten baseball bats for £17, with £9.50 costs for posting and packaging.

They are in a "used" condition.

A pair of Ray Ban sunglasses is available for £36.56, with posting costs of £4.10, but note that they are in a "used condition, with some light scratches on the lenses".

Electrical goods on offer include a Braun Oral-B electric toothbrush available for £27.90, and £3.10 postage, and a Philips electric shaver for £27 and £3.10 postage.

Both products have "damaged" packaging from storage.

Another standout item is the Ridgeback Avenida unisex bicycle, up for sale at £31, with free collection.

Finally, there is a bargain available for workmen, with a Derby Unitex mens fleurocarbon boiler suit for just 99p.

It is "brand new" and comes with £3.10 postage and packaging costs.
