THE Brexit Party has insisted it will run in every parliamentary seat in Sussex in the December General Election.

At a flashy Westminster conference on Tuesday, leader Nigel Farage pledged to field candidates in every constituency in the county and the country.

Andy Wood will run in Hove while Dr Graham Cushway will compete in Brighton Kemptown.

The Brexit Party candidate for Brighton Pavilion is set to be announced in the next few days.

Dr Cushway said of the announcement: “The Brexit Party intend to fight with everything we have for a clean break Brexit.

“Then we need to move on to urgently-needed electoral reform so that they can never ignore us again. It is time to change politics for good.

“A political storm is coming. We are the storm.”

Brexit Party election candidates have been named for 14 of the 16 seats in Sussex.

Previously former Brighton and Hove city councillor Tom Bewick was set to represent the party in Hastings, but he withdrew to run in Dagenham.

The deadline for registering candidates for the December General Election is November 14.

The election will be held on December 12.
