A CRASH is causing miles of queuing traffic on a busy road.
The collision on the A23 London Road near Pyecombe happened at about 8am this morning.
An AA spokesman said: "The road is partially blocked and there is queueing traffic for three miles due to a crash on the A23 Northbound after the A281 West Road (Henfield Turn Off).
"There is congestion to the A27 (Patcham/Brighton).
"Severe delays of 16 minutes and delays increasing on the A23 London Road Northbound in West Sussex.
"The average speed is ten mph."
At about 9.30am the AA spokesman said that much of the traffic had calmed but some delays still remained in the area.
