A CRASH left debris scattered across a busy road.

Emergency services attended after two cars were badly damaged in a collision at a junction.

Ambulance crews came across the scene on the A27 Upper Brighton Road, Sompting, yesterday evening.

They stayed there for an hour checking over those involved.

A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman said: "One of our ambulance crews came across the incident at 6.30pm and stopped to assist.

"It was a two car collision and the cars were stopped across a junction.

"All patients were checked over and discharged at the scene, no one needed hospital treatment.

"Crews left the scene at about 7.30pm."
