A MAN has appeared in court charged with the murder of a 53-year-old in a flat fire.
Louis Navarre is accused of killing Denise Toulsee at a flat in Warren Drive, Crawley, in July last year.
The 56-year-old, of Blackwater Lane, Crawley, appeared before Lewes Crown Court following his arrest.
A 38-year-old man was also arrested, but released without charge.
Navarre, a cleaner at Gatwick, will next appear for a plea hearing on December 16, ahead of a trial in April next year.
