COMEDIAN Jack Whitehall has announced an extra Brighton performance for his UK tour, Stood Up, due to phenomenal demand for the show.

This extra show at the Brighton Centre will be a matinee on January 2, before another performance in the evening.

“See you soon, Brighton,” the 31-year-old comedian tweeted in response to the announcement.

He also announced an extra evening show in Peterborough on January 6.

Jack’s Stood Up tour kicks off in Manchester this month and ends with two nights at Wembley Arena in January.

Jack said: “I couldn’t be more thrilled to be going back out on the road. There’s no feeling like standing up on stage in front of an arena full of strangers, and still being able to hear your dad heckle you.”

It takes Jack to a total of five Brighton shows, the first three running from December 9 to 11.

Stood Up will be Jack’s first show since 2017’s At Large. In the period since he has been focusing on his acting career, starring in upcoming Disney adventure film, Jungle Cruise.

He also became a chat show host with his BBC 2 series Backchat, which he co-hosted with his father, Michael.

Tickets for all of Jack Whitehall’s tour are available now.
