Huge delays on A259 after car overturns
THERE are long delays on the A259 after a crash.
Marine Drive is blocked both ways after a car overturned.
There is congestion to surrounding roads around Brighton Marina, delays have backed up to the East Brighton Park area.
Police said they were called at 3.26pm.
A man sustained serious injuries and has been taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment.
Paramedics and the fire service were called to the scene, including crews from Roedean and Brighton.
The fire service said no one had to be cut free from the wreckage, but offered help to paramedics to a man at the side of the road.
