A NEW seafront restaurant has opened.
Bistrot Pierre is on the redeveloped site of the Wish Tower in King Edward’s Parade, Eastbourne.
The restaurant, which has created 65 jobs, will seat more than 150 diners.
The café bar area will serve a range of brunch dishes, open grilled sandwiches, baguettes, burgers and cakes.
A spokesman said: “A café bar is a new concept for us.
"Being by the coast lent itself perfectly to this, which enables walkers to pop in for some coffee and cake – and bring their dogs too.”
