A Southern Rail train in Brighton
A BROKEN down train at Lancing is causing disruption to trains through this station.
Southern Rail said trains between Brighton and Worthing may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Disruption is expected until 11pm.
Trains are currently unable to move westbound through Lancing, affecting services towards Worthing.
This will also affect some eastbound journeys through this station, as trains and crews will no longer be in the correct places around the network.
Services between the following stations are affected:
- London Victoria and Littlehampton
- Brighton and Littlehampton
- Brighton and West Worthing
- Brighton and Southampton
- Central Brighton and Portsmouth & Southsea
Because of the disruption, some trains will be revised to call at fewer stations, or terminated before they reach the affected area.
