A SNIPER rifle scope, ten pairs of sunglasses, 36 plastic lanyards, and a cuddly teddy bear are among the bargains available on a police auction site this week.
Sussex Police ebay page is selling a variety of the weird and wonderful, from items which were reported stolen or have been handed in as lost property.
In the past ten years the force has raised nearly £840,000 from the sale of nearly 29,000 items, a Freedom of Information Act request by The Argus revealed.
Most of the money is donated to charities in Sussex, the force says.
This week, among eight items for sale include a Simmons rifle scope, in a used condition, available for £20, with £4.10 postage costs.
There are 36 plastic work lanyards available for £1.20, with £9.50 postage costs.
Perhaps the biggest bargain is the lot for ten sets of sunglasses, in mixed conditions, available for 99p, with £3.10 postage costs.
The force is also selling an Argus gift card with £140 worth of credit, for £120, and £7.60 postage costs.
Electrical items such as a 16GB iPad 3, available for £70 and £5.30 postage costs.
Although the force admits the device has not been tested for its SIM functionality, has some scratches, and has no charger of USB cable.
A pair of Nike Air Max 97 trainers are available in UK size 8, for £24, and £3.10 postage costs.
And there is a River Island ladies yellow coat available for £17 and £6.50 postage costs.
Finally there is a Sussex Police collectable teddy bear available for £4.49. There are four available and postage is free, perhaps making it a perfect choice for any tot who'd like to join the force when they grow up.
