ROBERT DUL

Aged 25, of Mill Road, Worthing, admitted driving at a speed in excess of 70mph on the A23. Fined £207, with a £30 surcharge and £85 costs. Five points added to his licence.

LEE FUNNELL

Aged 46, of Field Road, Worthing, guilty of failing to identify the driver suspected of a road traffic offence in Shoreham to the police. Fined £660, with a £66 surcharge and £85

costs. Banned from driving for six months.

SIAN HALL

Aged 58, of Cromwell Road, Hove, found guilty of assaulting a woman and a man, and resisting a police officer. Ordered to pay £800 compensation, with £620 costs. Put under a restraining order for one year.

DAVID CAMPBELL

SIMON HORNBY

Aged 49, of Lewes Road, Brighton, admitted entering the Treacle and Ginger cafe, Hove, as a trespasser and stealing a purse containing £40 in cash, bank cards, and a driving licence. Given an eight week suspended prison sentence and ordered to pay £100 compensation, with a £115 surcharge.
