DETECTIVES are investigating after a pedestrian was run over by a car which mounted the pavement.
The red Vauxhall performed a u-turn in Old Steine, Brighton, outside the YHA hostel and then drove towards two people.
One person was on a red bike, the other was a pedestrian, who was struck by the car.
It happened at 10pm on Monday, November 11.
The victims and suspects left the scene before police arrived.
Detective Constable Vicky Bailey said: “We are not been able to identify who the victims and suspects were. We are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to come forward.”
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information is asked to report it online or call 101 and quote reference 1485 of 11/11.
