A THUG punched a woman and kicked her while she was on the floor.
Daniel Ramsey, 38, attacked the woman at the Aldi supermarket in Bexhill.
At Brighton Magistrates’ Court he admitted he assault, and was jailed because of his history of previous offences.
Court documents noted that Ramsey, of Kenilworth Road, St Leonards, had punched the woman to the face and kicked her on the floor.
Magistrates jailed him for 18 weeks and said the prison sentence was “inevitable”.
They ordered him to pay a £122 surcharge.
