THE Prime Minister’s girlfriend Carrie Symonds has joined an MP hopeful on the campaign trail today.
Joe Miller, who is standing for the Tories in Kemptown, knocked on doors with the 31-year-old.
The pair were accompanied by their dogs Dilyn and Nessie.
Mr Miller tweeted: “What an amazing day meeting residents with the team today - and joined by the amazing Carrie Symonds and of course Dilyn.
“Thank you very much for joining us in Brighton to #MakeItMiller!”
The 25-year-old told The Argus: "It was great to have Carrie, a staunch environmentalist and animal rights champion: along with the cutest rescue pup Dilyn down to campaign with our team and my dog Nessie.
"Dilyn and Nessie got on very well, maybe slightly too well. We all really enjoyed speaking to our neighbours in Brighton Kemptown and Peacehaven.
"Carrie, Dilyn and Nessie were massive hits with them.
"It is clearer than ever, that neighbours are worried about a Corbyn government and instead want to get Brexit done to heal our divided country.
"We will move onto the things people care about, affecting our daily lives and that our country can unite around.
"Namely more funding for our precious NHS, schools and policing."
Ms Symonds was last seen with boyfriend Boris Johnson, 55, earlier this week.
The couple were spotted boarding a train to Manchester on Tuesday ahead of ITV’s leaders’ debate.
It was their first campaign appearance together ahead of the election on December 12, although Ms Symonds has been actively supporting other candidates.
PR expert Miss Symonds is set to target key seats the Conservatives must win to scoop a majority.
She has reportedly taken six weeks unpaid leave from her job at environmental group Oceana so she can battle for young female candidates in marginals.
Miss Symonds was the Tories’ communications chief until last year.
