A SCHOOL has been ranked the third best in the country.
Brighton College in Kemp Town, Brighton, came third in The Sunday Times 2020 Parent Power Schools guide, which was published on Sunday.
The school’s place in the league tables makes it the highest-ever ranked co-educational independent school in England.
Brighton College eclipsed some of the country’s most high profile independent schools, including Eton College, Westminster and Rugby.
The college’s headmaster Richard Cairns said: “I really am delighted for the whole community and, in particular, for the wonderfully talented and focused teaching body which has made this possible – and the hundreds of engaged and positive pupils who have fulfilled their own individual ambitions.
“I am proud of them all.”
