THERE is slow traffic on the A259 after an incident involving a horse box.

An AA spokesman warned of delays stretching from Rottingdean towards Brighton.

He said: "The road is partially blocked and there is queueing traffic due to a stalled horsebox on the A259 Marine Drive near the junction with the B2123 High Street.

"This is affecting traffic travelling through Rottingdean.

"Further delays are building for southbound traffic on the High Street."

The area has now been cleared and traffic has returned to normal.
