A CANDIDATE hoping to be MP for Winnie the Pooh’s Hundred Acre Wood has written his own version of the AA Milne classic.
Chris Bowers, the Liberal Democrat candidate for Wealden, has written and recorded Brexit at Pooh Corner ‘In which Pooh and Eeyore get very worried about Brexit.’
He said: “It felt entirely right to imagine Pooh asking Christopher Robin what Brexit was all about. The Ashdown Forest is dependent on a grant of nearly £400,000 from the EU – approximately 75 per cent of the funding.”
