POLICE are hunting two women after a bank card and phone were stolen from a city centre pub.

The card was then used for a spending spree across Brighton on Sunday after it was pinched from The Walrus pub in Ship Street.

On Saturday evening, a couple, who left the pub at 9.15pm, called the pub to say one of them had left their coat and its contents inside. It was then put to one side for collection the following day.

The next day it was discovered a bank card and phone had been taken from the coat and the card had been fraudulently used.

These two women were seen during transactions at a nearby shop.

If you recognise them, contact the police online or by calling 101, quoting serial 792 of 17/11.
