GREEN Party candidate Caroline Lucas says she will take a day out of campaigning today.
The Brighton Pavilion hopeful will instead join youngsters taking part in the “climate strike” walkouts from school in Madeira Drive.
She said school pupils are showing “more leadership on climate” than politicians in Westminster.
Ms Lucas will also apologise to them having to take a day out of school to keep climate change on the agenda.
She will resume her campaign on Saturday.
