POLLSTERS predict Labour and the Green Party will hold onto seats in Sussex.

A YouGov poll, which was the only one to correctly predict a hung Parliament in 2017 suggests the Tories could be set to win a big majority.

But the experts have predicted that Labour’s Peter Kyle and Lloyd Russell-Moyle and Green’s Caroline Lucas will hold their seats in Brighton and Hove.

The YouGov MRP poll in The Times this week suggests that the Tories might snatch Eastbourne from the Liberal Democrats, and continue to hold all the other seats in Sussex.

Labour has traditionally targeted seats like Crawley and Hastings and Rye, and performed well in East Worthign and Shoreham last time, while the Liberal Democrats have targeted Lewes. But the poll suggests neither party will gain seats.

Voters will go to the polls on Thursday, December 12.
