WITH plans to open a multi-million pound cafe on Hove seafront, we look back at other cafe openings in Brighton and Hove over the years.
But how many have stood the test of time?
In 2009 Heather Mills opened her VBites vegan restaurant at Hove Lagoon.
But the venue has since been replaced by the popular Big Beach Cafe owned by Norman Cook - aka Norman Smith.
We also look at staff and customers at the Wish Park Cafe, which was officially opened by Councillor Anne Pissaridou in 2012.
Our final image shows Albion legend Peter Ward at the opening of The Hungry Seagull in 1999.
