A POPULAR cafe has started trading under a new name.
Hixon Green Ltd - who used to run Hixon Green in Hove - will be struck off the Companies House register in two months.
The cafe in Church Road now trades under the name Hixon Green Hove Limited.
A notice on Companies House, posted on November 5, says: “At the expiration of two months from the above date the name of Hixon Green Ltd will be struck off the register and the company will be dissolved.
“Upon dissolution all property and rights vested in, or held in trust for, the company are deemed to be bona vacantia, and accordingly will belong to the crown.”
The business is listed on Companies House are being owned by Mohammad Majeed, who took over on March 26 of this year.
The cafe was opened in 2017 and bosses are planning to build a new site in Lewes next year.
Hixon Green was approached for comment but did not provide one as The Argus went to press.
