LEWES Lib Dems have accused the Conservatives of failing to protect land from flooding.
Candidate Oli Henman blamed the Tory Government for actions that contributed to recent flooding of the Cuckmere Valley.
He said; “The last four weeks have seen devastating flooding in the Cuckmere Valley threatening towns and villages.
“Failure to clear the Cuckmere by the Environment Agency is the result of devastating cuts of 40 per cent.”
