EXTINCTION Rebellion took the plunge into the icy cold December sea.
The group braved freezing temperatures on Sunday to highlight concerns that much of Sussex will be underwater by 2050.
A spokeswoman said: “A group of swimmers form the Extinction Rebellion symbol on Hove Lawns, before braving a sea swim, where they endeavoured to form an Extinction Rebellion sign in the sea - to highlight that much of the Sussex coastline will be underwater by 2050.
“We are asking politicians ‘What Is Your Plan’?”
