A TRANSPORT charity has won a national award.
Community Transport (CT) Sussex was named provider of the year by the Community Transport Association.
The charity provides bus services across West Sussex, with more than 120,000 passenger journeys per year.
CT Sussex says transport services are now in greater demand due to cuts in local bus services, especially in rural areas.
Judges for the prize were impressed by their breadth of services, including a project that enables residents to access medical appointments, greater access to the theatre, and days out for elderly people at risk of social isolation.
