FOLLOWING Councillor Pete West's letter to the Argus I will never vote Green again.
The Green party have managed to bring the city to a near standstill with their absurd policies.
The taxi rank at the station, Valley Gardens, proposed removal of the roundabout at the Palace Pier and bus lanes that cause more gridlock, just look at Lewes Road, Rottingdean or the miles of tailbacks trying to get into and out of Brighton.
The Green Party then refuse to support a park and ride scheme.
Can anyone name one 'road improvement' that has actually helped traffic flow.
Does this party not realise this is a city that requires traffic movement for businesses, visitors and yes us the residents.
The pollution they complain about was caused by their own policies. Interesting his letter does not mention a tram system which I think most of us would welcome.
For the record I'm not a car user and, Mr West, my travel time to the universities by bus has increased by 15 minutes.
