A MARINA has won a major environmental award for reducing waste.
Brighton Marina won the silver Green Apple award for best practise in waste management.
Kirsty Pollard, centre manager, said: “We have a high amount of waste from our many restaurants and a limited budget, but have always reinforced the recycling message to all our food and drink outlets through workshops, posters and booklets.
“We’re thrilled with our success.”
