An Easyjet flight
AN EASYJET flight to Sofia declared an emergency today.
Flight U28973 left Gatwick Airport at 6.46am and was due to land in the capital of Bulgaria at 11.30am.
But the Airbus diverted to Brussels shorlty after 10am.
Easyjet said the flight changed course as a passenger needed further assistance.
A statement said: "The disruption is beyond our control and is considered an extraordinary circumstance."
