VOTERS will have to battle high winds and heavy rain as they head to the polls tomorrow.
The Met Office has warned people to expect winds that reach 42mph in Brighton.
Voters will also face biting cold temperatures which, though they will reach 10 degrees during the day, will feel more like 1-4 degrees, a spokesman for the weather service said.
Rain is set to reach its heaviest at 10am and 2pm.
The spokesman said: "Tonight, conditions will be turning frosty across central and eastern areas of the UK, with some icy patches possible across Scotland, whilst a few fog patches are liely to form across southeast England.
"Tomorrow, there will be rain in the west moving eastwards across most parts of the UK with some heavy bursts."
