VOTERS head to the polls for the UK general election today.

Parties have been busy campaigning; polling cards have been sent out and voters will cast their votes for the third time since 2015.

Polling stations will be open between 7am and 10pm.

The electoral services team has confirmed the final electorates in Brighton are as follows: Brighton Kemptown: 69,833, Brighton Pavilion: 79,057 and Hove: 74,313.
