IMMIGRATION officials and the police pulled up outside a block of flats.
Two Home Office vans were spotted at Liverpool Gardens, in Chapel Road, Worthing on Friday morning.
They were joined by the Gangmaster and Labour Authority, a government body responsible for helping vulnerable and exploited workers.
A spokesman for the Home Office said no arrests had been made.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said the authorities had “visited an address in Chapel Road as part of their routine enquiries into worker welfare. Nothing was found that needed any police action."
