TWO teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm with intent after firefighters were attacked by a group of youths.
The crew was responding to a fire in Shinewater Park, Eastbourne, at about 6.30pm on Monday, December 2, when pebbles and planks of wood were thrown at them.
One firefighter was injured after being hit on the head by a pebble.
Two teenage boys, one aged 14 and one aged 15, both from Eastbourne, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm with intent.
They have been released on police bail until 8 January with conditions.
