A ROYAL fan who sent Meghan Markle a “letter of encouragement” has revealed she received a response thanking her for her “generous words of support”.

Becca Anderson shared the letter from Buckingham Palace on her Instagram stories, which was signed by Claudia Spens, head of general correspondence for the royals.

While she did not reveal the contents of her original note, the reply said the Duchess of Sussex “appreciated the generous words of support”.

Prince Harry, 35, and Meghan Markle, 38, are currently on a six-week break from royal duties.

Becca wrote: “If you can’t tell, I love Duchess Meghan.”

And sharing the royal’s response, she posted: “So thoughtful to send a response!”

In the letter, Claudia wrote: “The Duchess of Sussex has asked me to thank you for your thoughtful card.”

She went on: “It was so kind of you to take the trouble to write as you did.

“Her Royal Highness appreciated your generous words of support and has asked me to send you warmest thanks and best wishes.”

The card comes after The Argus revealed a petition to have the couple stripped of their Sussex titles had been signed more than 3,000 times.
