SAFFRON Barker put on her dancing shoes as she returned to the Strictly Come Dancing floor for one final performance.

The social media star took part in a feel-good medley featuring all of the shows eliminated dancers during Saturday’s final.

The 19-year-old from Woodingdean certainly made an entrance, bursting on to the dancefloor to a rendition of Whitney Houston’s I wanna Dance With Somebody.

She had previously been favourite to win the competition with a highlight being her and partner AJ Pritchard’s leaderboard-topping waltz to Elton John’s Your Song. But her Strictly journey came to an end after she struggled with a challenging Samba routine.

She was voted off following a dance-off with Karim Zeroual and Amy Dowden.

But Saffron said she has happy memories of her “magical” time on the show.

She said: “I remember how much fun it was and how much we laughed. We just had the best time. The longer you are in it, the longer you want to be on the show for.

“It was a once in a lifetime opportunity that I’m never going to forget.”

Ahead of her final performance, Saffron revealed she was worried she would not be able to take part because she was feeling “so unwell”.

But the teenager battled through the illness, having to learn the choreography at the last minute, and did not put a foot wrong in the group performance.
