OFFICERS have made an arrest after an assault in a city centre street.
A passerby reported seeing the attack in St James’s Street, Brighton on Friday evening.
Sussex Police revealed they had made an arrest in the area at 6.45pm.
The attack follows concern over a spate of homophobic attacks in the street earlier this year.
In one of seven reported incidents, a man was admitted to intensive care ward after a violent robbery in Kemp Town.
