A MAN has been charged after reports of a person waving around a knife and making threats in the city centre.
Stefan Osborn, of Grand Parade, Brighton, has been charged with possession of a knife after the incident in Gloucester Road on Thursday night.
The 35-year-old was Tasered by officers at the scene.
Eye-witnesses report the man stabbed himself in the neck but Sussex Police insist that "no one harmed".

"No one was harmed.”
Osborn has been released on bail and is due to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 2 January.
