A PRIMARY school has been saved from closure.
Campaigners are celebrating now Fletching CE Primary School in East Sussex will stay open.
The village and the Conservative MP for Wealden, Nusrat Ghani, lobbied the department for education to keep the school open.
Ms Ghani said: “This has been a long and hard campaign and I am pleased that the whole Fletching community worked together to present a powerful case in supporting the super local school.”
